Doctors & Staff

Our office consists of a doctor and group of technicians who strive to work hard together and provide the best possible service for our patients. We listen, communicate, and work with tons of different people; assisting each one with the care he/she deserves and needs. Patient care is our primary focus.


Dr. James Steven Randle O.D., PLLC

Steve Randle O.D., PLLC  is the leading provider of optometry services and vision care products in the Amory community.  He is trained to recognize diseases of the eye, such as glaucoma and cataracts, as well as general health conditions such as diabetes.  He wants to help you achieve and maintain a clear vision for years to come.


Christy King- Office Manager/Optical Tech

Christy is responsible for evaluating eye prescriptions, using a variety of materials and machinesto create a finished eyewear product for the patient as well as examining and repairing eyewear.She also makes sure that our office’s operations run smoothly and efficiently.


Brooke Tubb – Insurance/Billing Specialis

Brooke inputs all insurance claims, examines and resolves each claim, while documenting actions and posting payments.  She also detects any coding errors, performs the correct modifications to any payment or adjustment while assisting in managing and maintaining the efficiency of our practice.


Carol Leech – EHR Technician/Optometric Technician

Carol is responsible for managing and maintaining medical records, reviewing patient’s physical chart, including the medical history, doctor’s notes and current medications.  The privacy and security of each patient is top priority. She also focuses on preparing patients for specific tests that will measure their eyes and vision abilities.  The tests ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseased eyes.


Paige Murphy – Admission/Discharge Clerk

  • Answer phone
  • Schedule appointments
  • Input patient data (add patient info from patient form, including insurance, make exam or office visit form and label chart).
  • Update and file charts
  • Assist patients with glasses and contacts
  • Discharge patients (input fee slips and schedule any follow up appointments).
  • Call patients for appointment conformation daily
  • Print monthly patient recalls
  • Responsible for making copies of all forms used for exams and charts
  • Help with mail pickup and make daily bank deposits for Dr. Randle
  • Assist in patient testing 

Melanie Bennett – Admission/Discharge Clerk /EHR Tech
